“Defining Municipal Tree Risk Thresholds”
Host: Minnesota Shade Tree Short Course, Bethel University, Arden Hills, MN

Determining risk thresholds are a key component of the risk management profession, yet it is a concept that is poorly understood within the tree profession. Without this understanding our approach to risk is driven by a poorly informed dialogue perpetuated by litigation and an over emphasis on the few tree-related events that occur. This session will provide agencies with tools for determining risk thresholds that reinforce program choices. http://cceevents.umn.edu/minnesota-shade-tree-short-course
